For the first time in a long time of around 8 years, inflation declined
sharply to its lowest level. It has reached to 1.5pc this may in food.
Decrease of this inflation was due to supermarket price war and cheaper
air fares. Inflation which was 1.8pc in April due to Easter drive fell
to 1.5pc in a month. As measured by the CPI-Consumer Price Index, it was the lowest inflation rate since October 2009.

fall inflation rates as judged by the ONS-Office for National
Statistics. Super markets price war between two biggest
supermarkets in Britain was a great reason for the downfall. The total
decrease in food prices and airfares was more than 0.25% the CPI rate. Where some prices decrease some have to be increased to balance the
government policy. Thus the increase in petrol prices played an offset

an year ago it was 3.1 pence per litre less than this. It was not just
petrol but diesels price also rose from that of past year. The
core inflation dropped to 1.6pc from 2pc The wages being the same and
the rise in inflation rate is killing the backs of many. The bonuses
along with wages have grown by just 0.7pc in three months compared with
the rates of 1.9pc before that. The economist have the great
mystery to solve now to know how it will be in the next few years, they
say that the inflation can pick up in the coming months only if the
geopolitical risks intensified further. The senior economist said on the
basis of his studies that the UK's inflation rates may get high in the
near future due to the risks from world commodity markets.....Read MoreBreaking News US
