A 15-year-old-juvenile, Stephan Sydney along with his mother, Noreen Michelle, went to Newark with the intention of showing rectitude to his dead dad. When on a Sunday evening, the building caught fire which resulted in them passing away with four other building members. The fire had started at one apartment but according to the Essex County Prosecutor's office it caught another home and both the apartments with residents were devastated.
The boy’s grandmother, Iris Sydney, came from Irvington to look at the happening and take the last view of her grandson and his mother’s death apartment. Her grandmother told the Press that they came to visit the Solid Rock church for the father’s day as her grandchild’s father passed away during his services in that church.While the house caught fire, Sydney was at the church and was informed of the happening by a sheriff’s deputy that her grandchildren along with her mother and 4 others had gone through this fire accident and have passed away....Read More
