The unfortunate Sewol ferry was about to sink on a Tuesday, 16th
April, having 15 affiliated helpers in the ship. The lawyer justified
that his client, Sohn Ji-tae, who was responsible for controlling the
ship was confused and had no option to save the members so he jumped off
the sinking boat in order to abscond the blame. He left behind, the
coast guard fully accountable for the rescue.The families of the sufferers were angry on the carelessness of the owner and Coast guard
of the Ferry CEO, who were nowhere to be found. The lawyer asked the
judge to give less punishment to his client as he was not fully to be
blamed for the already sinking ship.The transport was carrying
the students of high school who were expected to return from their trip
to the Jeju Island. The reason of this increasing anger in South Korea
was that the guards, who were responsible to be saving the children,
fled. About 300 students were in the ferry from which 19 remain unfound.
